In 1963 Francis and Betty (the parents of the current owner) arrived in Capo Ferrato in the south of Sardinia to settle down and start an agricultural activity.
Wanting to combine the return to nature and the discovery of the beauties of the sea, it was not by chance that they bought the property in the place called “Argiola di Leonardo” along one of the most beautiful coasts of Sardinia that Capo Ferrato and Costa Rei were going to become.
Everything had to be done: from the house to the plantations and land development.

Today the farm has been taken over by Geoffroy, keeping the natural and sustainable aspect of the activity in a concern for biodiversity with the maintenance of bitter orange and olive trees, in association with the production of cereals.
The “Tenuta Bau Arena” is an active member of the “SEMINOW” association, which develops the promotion of the ancient Sardinian varieties of cereals, particularly wheat, with respect for agro-biodiversity and the return to the authenticity of nature. https://www.seminow.it
